Meet Dr. Nicholas Toscano
Dr. Nicholas Toscano is a board-certified periodontist who received his Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Scranton in Scranton, PA. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University School of Dental Medicine in New York, NY. Following dental school, Dr. Toscano served in a 13 year tour with the United States Navy, where he completed a General Practice Residency at the prestigious National Naval Medical Center (“The President’s Hospital”) in Bethesda, MD.
He then went on to receive his Periodontal Certificate from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School in Bethesda, MD & earned a Masters of Science degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology & a diplomat & fellow of the International Congress of Implantologists.
Among his other achievements, Dr. Toscano has also been recognized for his work with many honors, including multiple Navy Achievement & Commendation Medals & one of Dentistry Today’s “Top Top Clinicians in CE” in 2007 & 2008.
